How to Install Abduction ICS 4.0.3 Custom Firmware on HTC Droid Incredible

1. Before starting the process, you need to have a rooted HTC device. with
2. One of the most important this, you must do before installing the update is to create a full backup of your device such as – SMS, contacts, call logs, Access Point Names(APN) Settings, Images, Audios & Videos etc.
3. Minimum battery requirement for the successful completion of this job is around 55%.
4. The path from where it is possible to enable the USB Debugging of your HTC device is – ‘Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging’.

Steps to install Abduction ICS 4.0.3 Custom ROM Firmware on HTC Droid Incredible

Step 1: First you need to connect your phone with your Computer to place the downloaded zip files to the root of the device SD card. Please ensure that you haven’t kept it inside any folder.

Step 2: Then, you need to turn off your device to reboot it into recovery mode by pressing the volume down button and power button till the recovery mode screen will appear on the device.

Step 3: When it appears then select ‘install zip from sd card > choose zip from sd card’ to select the downloaded ROM (Abduction Custom ROM Firmware).

Step 4: After completing the installation of ROM, which may take 7-9 minutes you should select the Google Apps. This may take around 5-7 minutes for updating.

Step 5: Then, get back to the recovery mode and select ‘wipe data / factory reset’ and ‘wipe cache partition’ to wipe all your cache. Under advanced option select ‘Dalvik Cache’.

Step 6: Once you have done, select the option of ‘reboot system now’ for restarting your HTC device to see the changes made to it by new ROM.
